Join Pelah Kitchen for an immersive, hands-on cake decorating experience celebrating the beauty of summer. Think vibrant seasonal blooms, fresh produce, and joyful gathering.
You'll learn the basics of cake stacking and buttercream decorating through an engaging live demonstration before creating your own edible masterpiece that's just as delicious as it is beautiful.
Each ticket includes:
A guided cake decorating workshop
A 4-inch, two-layer cake to decorate and take home
All decorating tools and materials, plus a box to take your cake home
Seasonal hors d'oeuvres, sweets, complimentary wine, and non-alcoholic cocktails
After registering, you'll choose one of the following cake flavors:
Cardamom-Spiced Carrot Cake
Lemon Butter Cake with blueberry lavender filling
Espresso Chocolate Cake with dark chocolate buttercream

The workshop will be held at BEM | books & more, a Black woman-owned independent bookstore in Bed-Stuy dedicated to celebrating culinary literature, culture, and community.
